"Dim Nachttag"

The music of Mosaikh was formerly known as Kosmoberkh, which started as a one man acoustic project in 2011. In late 2014 Kosmoberkh composer David Barteczko recorded all guitars for „Dim Nachttag“ at Tonmeisterei Oldenburg. In the turn of the new year 2015 David and Alex Pojda (audio engineer of former Kosmoberkh EPs) met to share some ideas on where to go with the songs. At that time Alex was working on building up what is known as „Holodeck Studio“ today. While the duo was constantly doing their improvised „Holodeck Sessions“ Alex figured out drum tunings which worked out well for the Dropped A-acoustic Parts. Alex finally accomplished drums for „Dim Nachttag“ and recorded them at the same time. Being occasionally in Oldenburg violinist Paula Töpper matched up with the duo to record her improvised and spiritful violin parts. When Thorge Freidel joined in playing bass, he completed the sound of Kosmoberkh with his massive Dropped A-Bass-Chords.
